If you’ve never visited South Cumberland State Park, add it to your bucket list! It does not disappoint! It’s huge; over 90 miles of hiking and covers 6 counties. In order to get the full experience, make it a multi-day trip. However; it’s a wonderful day trip too. Numerous waterfalls and amazing views. Most waterfalls are within a 1-2 mile hike from the main road.
Hello, My name is Amanda and I am an Adventure Ambassador. When I started this site in 2017, I was training to hike the Pacific Crest Trail and inviting you to follow me on that journey. The PCT was just the first leg of the journey and the plan was to hike the Triple Crown. In Tehachapi, CA I fell off of a mountain and now, I’m working on hopefully going back and finishing what I started.
Follow me as I prepare for a “THRU HIKE” reunion of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). The hike will consist of 2059 miles starting in Tehachapi, CA and ending at the border of Canada.
My mission is to create awareness of “Health and Wellness” for obese veterans. Statistics show that 78% of veterans are obese.
The name PCT now has more meaning. It’s also Places, Coastlines, and Travel.
Kayaking, Real Estate, Traveling, and helping Veterans receive the disability they deserve is what I do these days.
2023 is all about finishing what I started!
